After my grandmother was diagnosed with lymphoma, I made a promise to her that I would help as many people in her situation as possible. After two years battling cancer my grandma died.  Despite this loss I was determined to keep my promise and continue fighting in her memory. Once I began to give back the feeling of giving hope to some ones life was irresistible. Because of her, I feel responsible to carry out her mission and love every minute of it. I am excited every day to hear about the lives I have saved and the differences I have made in people's lives everywhere.

My original goal was to raise as much money, stem-cell donors, and awareness as possible. The outcome was unimaginably amazing . The day of the original event  in 2010 I raised $29, 000, 25 Bone-Marrow/stem-cell donors, saved countless lives, and created awareness throughout previously inaccessible community. From there my journey grew and expanded greatly. To date I have raised  $45,000+ for The City of Hope blood-donor center ,and  recruited 250+ people to join the national stem-cell and bone-marrow registry, through Be the Match. As a legally trained recruiter for Be the Match, I am able to help people wherever and whenever needed. Additionally, I have assembled several blood drives that have supplied enough blood to all the patients in need at The City of Hope for a week+. This project has inspired my Jewish community and has also inspired me to create the Ambassadors for Hope Club at two different high schools.

Over the years I have been so fortunate to win awards and scholorships for my work. I have been awarded the 4Gooder of the year award, An ABC cool kid, and the most recent is a 2014 Diller teen tikkun olam award recipient. I couldnt be more thankful!!!

For me this is not just a project or a promise. It's a passion. Its a way of life.
